This WIR 237 system features the small, versatile, WIR 237 Receiver with a 3.5 mm jack for personal earphone/headphone use.  With this versatile infrared receiver you don't have to take your hearing aids out to use it.   The listener can plug in a variety of stereo or mono earphone, headphone, or neckloop accessories (not included).  See optional, personal ear accessories that's right for your hearing for TV, music, meetings, or other small group listening applications. 

The receiverīs on/off switch is conveniently built into the jack of the unit.

For stereo operation, the WIR 237 system can connect directly to your TV, VCR, or DVD equipped with standard audio output jacks.

Transmitter operates within a 30 ft. (9m) line-of-sight area.    1m Audio Cable with dual RCA Plugs (WCA078).    Connects directly to your TV, VCR, or DVD equipped with standard output jacks.

5 year warranty.

When you UNPLUG the earphone, headphone, or neckloop from the receiver’s jack the receiver will turn off.   Then return the receiver to the charger when it is not in use!

The WIR 238īs under-the-chin style infrared receiver is suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss. NOTE: Some televisions have FIXED output and others have VARIABLE output. If available, FIXED output should be selected.   “Fixed” output means the volume on the television will not change when the volume is increased, decreased, or muted.
“Variable” output means the volume on the television will change when it is increased, decreased, or muted. If variable output is the only output available on your television, we recommend using the supplied TV microphone.
