- Choosing the correct site location, checking for
tele-coil interference,
room use and layout is critical for
hearing success.
- Prior to any meeting/event:
- Site Location:
- Check for excessive environmental noise from airports, trains, radio towers, etc.
Check for good room acoustics.
- Confirm that other events planned for that date will not cause excessive noise during
your planned meeting dates.

- Check for Telecoil and Interference:
Walk all around the room/s while using your telecoil with an R-31,
switch channels on the back from; "ch 1 to ch 2" to test for tele-coil and
channel interference from interior lighting, electrical equipment, hotel walkie-talkies,
outside interference, etc.
