Sound Systems Meeting Set-up & Suggestions

Classroom Layout Suggestion:

Arrange chairs in classroom style (Chairs usually should be set up with "no more than 4" 0000 0000 in a row allowing easier movement for participants.  Do not put chairs close to walls as there are electrical conduits running through them that can cause telecoil interference.

 

Circular Meeting Layout Suggestion:

Arrange chairs in circular style allows for easier lip/speech reading.

 

Boardroom Layout Suggestion:

Arrange for Boardroom Style; ( II ) instead of Conference Style; ( U ) layout.  This allows for easier wireless microphone sharing between participants.

Boardroom Sound Setup Suggestion:

•Connect microphone options using the Presenter's UHF Sound System Amplifier/Mixer Sound Field System. 

•Connect Williams Sound's T-17 FM Transmitter System into the Presenter for all R-31 Receiver users. (Use a shielded cable; RCA male to RCA male).

•Connect Oval Window's Induction Loop System into the Presenter for telecoil users. (Use a shielded cable; 3.5mm mono male to RCA male).

•Any wires should be taped down to prevent tripping.  (Head-table microphone cord drops down between tables out of the way).
